  "Who's the boy with the heart of joy?" It must be PINOCCHIO!
East Bay Children's Theatre (EBCT) will be presenting the original musical "Pinocchio!" in Spring of 2010. The beloved tale of the little wooden puppet who becomes a real live boy is magically brought to life - onstage - in a world premiere musical event!
"Pinocchio!" is written by Ron Lytle, a Bay Area actor and award-winning playwright and composer, and is based on the ever-popular story of the same name. Mr. Lytle's version of the timeless classic features an all-new score of tuneful songs, delivered by a cast of fall-down-funny characters. "Pinocchio!" will be directed by Sue Ellen Nelsen, a familiar name to audiences and actors throughout the Bay Area.
With enough fast-paced action to please children, and hysterical humor aimed at adults, "Pinocchio!" promises to be must-see, "wonderful-funderful" family entertainment - with no strings attached!
